In
a candid picture snapped by White House photographer Pete Souza during
the president's historic trip to Cuba this week, Malia Obama is seen
acting as an interpreter for her father as he talks with a
Spanish-speaking Cuban man in a restaurant.
It appears the restaurant worker has cracked a joke, since father and daughter sport matching ear-to-ear grins.
