Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited the White House with his wife for the first time this morning, but though the event was meant to mark the meeting of two great allies, so far it's the fashion that's stealing the show.

Trudeau's wife Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, 40, and Michelle Obama, 52, were an incredibly chic pair during the arrival ceremony, enjoying the unseasonably warm Washington D.C.

Fashion first: President Obama and Prime Minister Trudeau looked polished as well, but their wives stole the show

President Obama and Prime Minister Trudeau looked polished as well, but their wive.
The First Lady was in a cinched-at-the-waist Tanya Taylor dress in a black and green print using classic accessories and style with black  patent pointed -toe pumps and
a three-quarter-sleeve coat.
Mrs.Grégoire-Trudeau, on the other hand, went coat-free, showing off her floral sheath dress by Romanian-born Canadian designer Lucian Matis. Her add-ons, were a scalloped red clutch with a laser-cut pattern and red-and-pink striped heels.
