Oprah Winfrey just took a big loss in the stock market as Weight Watchers shares tumbled following a massive drop in quarterly revenue.
The weight-loss company announced a 21 percent drop in revenue from one year ago on Thursday which sent stock prices down 27 percent.
Winfrey, who bought a 10 percent stake in the company last year and joined the board, lost $24million as a result of the disappointing numbers.
The drop was due to a decrease in in subscribers to the program, which fell almost five percent in the fourth quarter.

Stock prices soared after Winfrey announced she would become the face of the company, with the former queen of daytime television taking home $45million in the 24 hours after she announced she had bought such a large stake in the company.
She added another $12million to that last month when her first commercial for Weight Watchers aired, which once again drove up the stock price.
Winfrey posted the ad online to her nearly 31million Twitter followers and shares of Weight Watchers International Inc rose 21 percent from $11.49 to $13.44 in just two hours during afternoon trading.
Winfrey, who owns just under 6.4million shares of Weight Watchers, said in that spot that she had lost 24lbs on the program.
Oprah's best friend, CBS This Morning anchor Gayle King, also began posting photos of the success she was having with the weight-loss program last September. She has now lost 25lbs.
'Watching the scale go down... Started@weightwatchers sept 12th &wish it was more loss! But as fellow fatty mc fat fats know once you break a barrier it is a victory ! No more weight in the 180's (we hope),' King wrote on Instagram in October.
The 61 year old then updated her followers one week later and showed that she had lost two more pounds, writing; 'You know it's a brand new day when the weight that use to send you to the fetal position now has you doing the happy dance.'
And just this past weekend she revealed she is down again, writing; 'Bummer ONLY 8 tenths of a pound! Better going down than up I know. Weight Watchers points still working for me. But I do wish it was FASTER!'
