...and you came looking like that?...hair got lost in the preparation hustle?
Alicia Vikander and Brie Larson both took home statues, but the hair? No cigars
...actresses Kate Capshaw and Rooney Mara left us scratching our heads
...Kate Hudson, Lorde, Juno Temple, Michelle Rodriguez, and Megyn Kelly all needed new 'dos or stylists
I's the Academy Awards red carpet, the most glamorous event of the year... and that's how they chose to wear their hair?
Although these hot leading ladies are lucky enough to have access
to the best stylists and the priciest products when it comes to tying up
their tresses for the Oscars — and some certainly take advantage of
those perks, wowing us with retro waves, sleek strands, and intricate
braids, others still managed to leave us seriously disappointed in their 'dos.
On the red carpet: Alicia Vikander (pictured) won Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars, but not Best Supporting Strands
Needs more oomph! Her messy half-back 'do was underwhelming for such a glamorous event. All is forgiven due to that beautiful dress
Too young:
Brie Larson (pictured) was accused of looking like she came from a high
school prom — which is unfortunate, because she is 26
Brie Larson and Alicia Vikander may have both taken home Oscar gold, no cigars for their hairstyle
Cut it out: Steven Speilberg's wife Kate Capshaw, 62, might need a new stylist to fix her uneven bangs. Like her shirt though
Nice try: Rooney Mara, 30, got experimental with her tied-up tresses for Oscar night
Huh? Unfortunately, the 'do looked like a baby bun front the front — and plain #whaarrisdis from and back.
A #whaarridis moment Kate Hudson, 36,
could have but more effort into her hairstyle, which looks like it
air-dried
.
A Girl needs some gel: Lorde's frizzy locks could have used extra attention
Where's a brush when you need one?
Juno Temple (pictured) scored 3 #whaa #whaa #whaarridis moments. No shekere for you
Michelle Rodriquez may have
been in a hurry to get out the door. This was an insult to that lovely outfit you had going there
Having an '80s flashback: Megyn Kelly seriously not werking ... checking out how severe you can be? Nooooo mmhmm
I can't shout. I can't even think. In fact I surrender. Costume designer Sandy
Powell's entire look was rather unique, but her carrot-orange locks were
what really stood out
