Kalli Medina-Brown, a Legal secretary of Citrus Heights, California, was celebrating birthday at Las Vegas hotel with her husband Weslee Brown, 29, a software engineer and friends.

She was found unresponsive at 2.30am Sunday at the bottom of the chute in D Las Vegas hotel, declared dead when fire department arrived 10 minutes later.

A Las Vegas Metro police spokesman, say someone reported she had a medical episode and fell down the chute, but police were called to the scene after the circumstances of her death seemed suspicious.

A childhood friend, Sierra Roraback said: "There has to be justice. We have to figure out who did this, we have to figure out what happened".
The case still under investigation.
